Don’t let the word pre-release fool you. There are some bangers to be had including autographs and serialized cards.
History was made when this set was released during the 2024 National Sports Collectors Convention, and as a way to distinguish our exclusive pre-release set, each card proudly features the National ’24 Stamp.
What’s Inside the Starter Kit?
200 total cards, all of which are legal for organized play and can be submitted for grading by PSA, TAG, CGC, and BGS. Plus, there’s a 1 in 7 chance of finding a gold box topper with a guaranteed serialized hit inside, adding an extra layer of rarity and excitement to the rip.
Look for foil stamped BoJax Starters (Fire /34, Ice /16, Steel /8) and Secret Starter: Glow variations of 7 Heroes, including BoJax, LeBoss, Freakshow, Merlomes, McArmyknife, Showtime, and Matata.
The National ’24 Starter Kits are designed for two players, providing everything needed to enjoy all three modes of play. The kit includes win counters, a flip coin, one die, official rules, and two foldable play mats, ensuring that players can dive into the action immediately.
The set also included /99 Inspired Inks of Bo available via special randomized giveaways in the National Card Show booth.
BoJax in Action
Bo Jackson made a special appearance at our booth during The National, where he jumped into battle and played two matches. True to his legendary status, Bo went 2-0, showcasing his skills not only as a sports icon, but as a fierce Playmaker in the Battle Arena.
The Chase for Heroic Bounties
Our N’24 Starter Set also features some exciting bounty chases! 4 of these hits each have $5,000 or greater bounties with 2 remaining unclaimed currently.
The BoJax Secret Starter: Glow 2024 NSCC Stamp Battlefoil (#16/50) was the first bounty to be hit, sparking a wave of excitement as the collector pulled the card in our booth at The National.
The next bounty card to be pulled was the BoJax Starter: Ice 2024 NSCC Foil Stamp (#16/16). This one came with even more excitement, coming from our VERY LAST sale of the day on the last day of NSCC 2024!
