June 18 Release Timing Update - Bo Jackson Battle Arena

We are happy to report we are largely on track for June 18 for Tecmo Bowl. Here is our best estimate of how the logistics will play out.

Hobby

Modern Hobby Distribution accounts will ship straight to retailers from the factory. All these retailers are expected to have product by June 18.
We expect Southern, GTS, ASM, and Excell to have hobby product in time to hit June 18 with rush turns so their major accounts may see it by release day. That said it wouldn't surprise us for normal logistics to mean product to these stores lands sporadically over the following week.
SCG we're not 100% sure. They kinda get back of the line shipments because we feel it's important to get things on local shelves as a priority.
DTC orders will be at the 3PL and the goal is to land them as close to June 18 as possible. This is difficult for us logistics wise and difficult for you all because you want your boxes. But we just have to chop through this wood and hope the cut is as smooth as it can be once finished.

Retail (ie Double Megas)

The first batch will go to the 3PL for DTC pre-order shipment. We hope these can start shipping by release day or the weekend.
We believe distribution will have their supply by June 25. The turn is very quick to Local Card Shops and they can shelve them upon delivery.
Big Box logistics take a minute. We will try to keep you informed. But there is a 0% chance that any big box will have Double-Megas on June 18.

Again - we will try to communicate the retail timeline as best we can. Going forward it will most likely be the norm that Retail trails hobby. For those with sports card experience you will know this is normal. As a Sports/TCG hybrid we wanted all SKUs to land same day. But it's just not likely to happen much so we might as well set goals we can hit (ie to have retail product trail hobby product each release).That's all we have for now. It's gonna be a little bumpy but that's been the norm for us so far We're hopeful that this is our last major release that screeches across the finish line this tight. We hope to have some fun stuff coming for you next week. Maybe it's time for some big news?? Lets BO!
