Buffer Brings the Energy
Michael Buffer brought a true event-level presence to the booth, announcing teams, athletes and introducing Mike Tyson with the signature “Iron Mike Tyson” call that all of their fans know so well. Tyson was joined by Dez Bryant, Rollie Fingers, Reggie Jackson, Antonio Gates, and Edgerrin James. Teams had the option to play with one of the athletes, who were then assigned at random, adding another layer of personality and unpredictability to the competition. More than a standard tournament block, APEX Madness felt like a major event at the show, and people responded to it that way.
N'26 Packs
The 2026 National exclusive packs became one of the biggest stories of the booth, selling out every day and helping drive constant traffic around BoBA. That demand came from both longtime community members and new visitors who stopped in to watch matches, ask questions, and get a firsthand look at what BoBA has been building.
Charlie Culberson and Ace
Charlie Culberson and his son Ace were with BoBA throughout the weekend, adding another memorable sighting to the weekend. Charlie appears as a Hero in BoBA fittingly named "Charlie Clutch," a nod to the big moments and walk-off home runs that defined some of his most memorable highlights that helped make him a hometown favorite for Atlanta fans. Ace loved seeing his dad represented in the game as a superhero! Charlie and Ace competed in APEX Madness with Bomb Squad. Charlie makes his Hero Debut in the upcoming Mahomes set and he and Ace are excited to remain part of the BoBA community moving forward!
Moments Beyond the Tournament Floor
On the Whatnot Main Stage, Bo and Lawrence Taylor hosted a FREE break with Bazooka Vault, adding another high-visibility moment to the weekend. Billy also marked a milestone with his first NIL deal! Along with the Milk-Bone promo cards, we had a Milk-Bone setup at the booth complete with FREE treat samples on hand for fans. It was another example of how the BoBA world keeps expanding in ways that resonate with the community around it. If there was one takeaway from this year’s National, it was how much momentum BoBA has right now. Between the athlete appearances, the packed booth, the product demand, and the steady flow of new people discovering the game, the weekend felt like a clear sign of where things are headed.
