• Is this made by THE Bo Jackson?

  Yes. THE Bo Jackson is a large investor and co-founder. At a recent event Bo shared that he has a deep love and passion for Battle Arena because he’s a grandpa now and he’s always enjoyed superheroes. He loves seeing his friends come to life as superheroes, giving their fans something new and fresh to enjoy!

• Are these like sports cards or is this a game?

  ---

  Well, it’s a little of both! The card rarity framework will be very familiar to any sports card collector and they will find autographs from many of their favorite players. The product itself is what’s known as a “CCG” (Collectible Card Game). The most famous CCG would be Pokémon. Our game is MUCH easier to play and literally grandpa can learn it in under 5 mins 😉

• How long has this product been around? Is there a good market for these cards?

  A friend of Bo’s invented this game in 1986 when Bo was a rookie. It was played for years among friends and family before becoming Bo Jackson Battle Arena in 2024. The first Starter products released in the summer of 2024 and a major set release called “Alpha Edition” released Black Friday of 2024! We make no promises of any future value of our products, but we have seen sales for thousands of dollars from our most recent release.

• Can I grade these cards?

  Yes. Take your pick. PSA, TAG, BGS, CGC and SGC are all grading BoBA.

• How do I know these boxes have good value?

  ---

  That will ultimately be decided by collectors around the world. But we have done what we can to help make the World Champions Boxes VERY special.

  We plan to make this a tradition and release them for every major championship. The special edition cards in these bundles very rare. Collectors will be after the 10 most exclusive cards and then the hits that may be found in the included Alpha Edition Booster Pack. The rarity of the cards is a big component of their value. Bo’s sports cards come from the peak of the junk wax era of over supply. Bo is now a big believer in the best collectibles having a certain scarcity and we are committed to this as part of our culture. We will have some “cheap” products for kids and game players to get cards, but that’s not what a Limited Edition drop like this is meant to be.

• Who are the autographs I can find in the box?

  You may find autographs of these names (and many more) in your box:

  Bo Jackson, Steve Young, Allen Iverson, Trae Young, Adley Rutshman, Karl Anthony Towns, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jaylen Waddle, Marcus Allen, Roger Staubach and many more.

  Please keep in mind that the World Champions Limited Editions are most focused on the ultra small print run of the exclusive cards.

• I want to dive in even more after I grab some World Champions boxes! Where can I find the “normal” boxes/products?

  If you want to dive in deeper ask your local hobby shop for a Hobby or Jumbo Box of Bo Jackson Battle Arena Alpha Edition. We did a small presale that sold out fast and WILL NOT have anymore Hobby products to sell online. If your shop is out, you can likely find some sealed boxes on marketplaces like eBay. Keep in mind, supply is very limited. For comparison, our Hobby print run is less than 1% of major releases from “Big Sports Card” and a fraction of that percentage compared to a major CCG set.
